Anne’s violin, the "Royal Spanish" was made in 1730 by the legendary Italian maker Antonio Stradivari (1644 –1737). The "Royal Spanish" earned its name because it previously belonged to the King of Spain.
Anne also plays on a violin by current Dutch maker,
Duncan Emck, that is comparable to the 1741 "Vieuxtemps" Guarneri del Gesu. She uses Dominque Peccatte (1810-1874) and Arcus carbon fiber bows and endorses Thomastik-Infeld Vision Titanium stings. Anne is usually found running around the airport with her Bam backpack violin case strapped to her back.
